Eric Adams Vodo Car2GoBROOKLYN NY – Car2Go, the carsharing company, made a visit to Brooklyn’s Borough Hall, to give Borough President Eric Adams a first hand look at the car. “I welcome the addition of car2go to Brooklyn’s highways and byways,” said Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams. “As Borough President of our city’s destination for innovation, I further applaud the ‘drive’ of car2go to shakeup the urban transportation landscape through the company’s per minute fee structure and its environmentally-friendly fleet of cars.”

This market currently covers 36 square miles, allowing members to pick up and drop off a car2go anywhere within the Home Area. As the only true, point-to-point car-sharing service, car2go allows members to use the service by the minute, hour and day, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week – without committing to a specific return time or dedicated location.

To locate the nearest car2go vehicle, members can visit the smartphone app, available on both iTunes and Google Play, the car2go website, or simply on the street anywhere within the 36-square mile car2go Brooklyn Home Area. When members are finished using a car2go, they may park at any on-street, non-metered space within the car2go Home Area.  Members are asked to pay attention to the street sweeping guidelines in the parking rules, located at brooklyn.car2go.com.  Parking, fuel, insurance and maintenance are included at no additional cost.
