“Kick off the summer with a free interactive festival for all families, filled with imaginative activities, hosted in partnership with Cool Culture and P.S. 1 Elementary School. Get inspired by the theme “Color My World” with live music and performance, an interactive gallery scavenger hunt, special family tours, a P.S. 1 student art show, and colorful art-making activities, including:
DIY colored sunglasses
Telescope making
Ancient Egyptian coloring station
Poetry wall
Community mandala making
Paper marbling and color-mixing workshops
Plant your own seedling
Cool Family Photo Booth
Drop in any time, or stay for the whole afternoon!
Bilingual volunteers (Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese) will be present.
Free for Cool Culture and P.S. 1 families. Free for the general public with Museum admission.”
