“A shared meal and conversation, towards shared action in our community.
BRIC invites all our neighbors to end the weekend with a community-building dinner and discussion. These days, local priorities can feel obscured by urgent national concerns. But we can build from the ground up, taking local action once we are unified around a shared vision and purpose.
At the OPEN Sunday Supper, we’ll begin to creatively envision what we want to see in and for our community. What actions can we imagine to create the neighborhood we want? And how can we begin to see ourselves as a WE?
Facilitated in collaboration with local artists and Sojourn Theatre, this gathering will kick off a year of creating action in community, to culminate at the BRIC OPEN Festival in April 2018. Open to everyone, we especially invite long-time residents and newcomers, and individuals whose daily work is not art-centered.
Program starts at 5PM, Supper at 6:30PM.
From 5-6:30PM, activities for young children will be available, so parents and care-givers can participate in the program. Youth activities provided on a first-come-first served basis.
NOTE: Capacity at BRIC House is limited, and admission is on a first come, first served basis, whether you have RSVP’ed or not. Please come early to ensure entry and seating.”
