Plaza Swing Series: Grupo Rebolú At The Central Public Library On Wednesday, June 21st!

“Grupo Rebolú’s Afro-Colombian music is loaded with energy, history and danceability. Rooted in the Carnaval de Barranquilla, their soulful and joyous dance music reinterprets traditional rhythms such as Gaita, Tambora, Chalupa and Bullerengue. Dance lessons are at 6:30, band starts at 7 pm. In case of rain, the event will be held on Thursday, June 22.

The Plaza Swing Series is made possible with the generous support of Sandra and Peter Schubert and with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.”
