ROW NEW YORK OFFERS FREE ROWING CLASSES IN BROOKLYN FOR CITY OF WATER DAY

New York, June 22, 2017– Row New York is excited to share the joy of rowing during Waterfront Alliance’s City of Water Day on July 15th, 2017 at our boat launch in Canarsie, Brooklyn.

City of Water Day is the perfect opportunity to try something many people have never attempted before: rowing. The totally free event will teach the basics of the sport, get people out on the water and give them the chance to explore our newest site.

Those interested in participating can simply stop by our boat launch for the family-friendly event at the following times for land-based and water-based rowing sessions and site tours:

Paerdegat Basin Launch, Brooklyn

Time: 12noon – 5 pm, weather permitting

Notes: On water experiences for people 14 and up with signed waiver; On land experiences open to all
