It’s a whole new day on Brooklyn Paper Radio this week, as New York Daily News columnist and host Gersh Kuntzman begins his summer sabbatical and Brooklyn Paper Editor-in-Chief grabs the reigns of the show Brownstoner.com has called a must-hear.
And with Kuntzman gone off producing his new musical comedy “Murder at the Food Co-op,” DiMiceli says today’s show will begin a new era in Brooklyn Paper Radio history.
“Gersh had a certain style that me and my producer Jimmy or Johnny thing we can veer away from,” DiMiceli said. “In fact, with Gersh away I should be able to spread my wings a little, do things differently, do things, I don’t know, my way.”
In fact, Vince will launch a new feature on today’s show titled “Reasonable Discourse” where he and a guest break down some of the reader comments that have appeared on BrooklynPaper.com. Today’s guest will be Arab American Association of New York executive director Linda Sarsour, who’ll talk about the more than 65 comments posted on The Paper’s story about a Bay Ridge designer’s body-covering clothing line for Muslim women.
That, plus our popular Morning Papers feature today on Brooklyn Paper Radio.
Brooklyn Paper radio is recorded and podcast live every Thursday at 4:45 pm — for your convenience — from out studio in America’s Downtown and can be found, as always, right here on BrooklynPaper.com, on iTunes at, on Mixlr, and of course, on Stitcher.
