As New York City’s 2025 mayoral race begins to heat up, a high-profile endorsement is adding fresh momentum to former Governor Andrew Cuomo’s campaign. On Friday, a veteran Brooklyn lawmaker threw her support behind Cuomo, signaling growing institutional and political backing as the crowded field of candidates looks ahead to the June primary.
New Endorsement for Andrew Cuomo
On Friday, Brooklyn New York State Senator Roxanne Persaud officially endorsed former Governor Andrew Cuomo for New York City mayor, according to a press release from Cuomo’s campaign.
