East New York residents are set to enjoy four days filled with music, culture, and health-focused activities as the third Annual East New York Concert & Wellness Series makes its return this month. The event is co-founded by State Assemblywoman Nikki Lucas, with support from Councilman Chris Banks and the iconic DJ Watkins & Friends. The open-air festivities will run Thursday, September 18 to Sunday, September 21, 2025, along Van Siclen Avenue, between Vandalia Avenue and Schroeders Avenue.

The press release notes the aim is to spotlight East New York’s vibrant arts and culture while connecting attendees to critical community services.

Thursday, September 18 (5 PM – 9 PM) – Caribbean & Latin Night
- Performances by Saucy Wow Belfon, Giro Lopez, Bascom X, Denise Belfon, Luci Martin, and Norma Jean Wright from Chic.
Friday, September 19 (5 PM – 9 PM) – House Music Night
- Sets by DJs Kervyn Mark, T-Groove, and DJ Groove.
Saturday, September 20 (1 PM – 9 PM) – Hip-Hop, R&B & Reggae Night
- Headliners include Evelyn Champagne King, Brand Nubian, Kenny Bobien, Strafe, Kool Rock Ski (The Fat Boys), Grand Master Dee (Whodini) and more, with DJs Just-Nice, Flowdak, Skip, SkiZ, and Mel E Mel.
Sunday, September 21 (1 PM – 6 PM) – Gospel & Jazz Night
- Bringing the festival to a close: Hezekiah Walker, James Hall, Rob & King Skip, Nakisha Smith, and Friends & Strangers Band.

Alongside the shows, attendees can connect with wellness resources, thanks to partners like NYPD, FDNY, Food Bazaar, Fusion East Caribbean Soul Restaurant, and New Wave Dance. Hosting duties will be handled by Blahzay Blahzay and Bobby Konders.
