The Commons Choir: Community Workshops At BRIC House Ballroom On Saturday, July 15th!

About:
Led by choreographer Daria Faïn and poet Robert Kocik, BRIC Artist in Residence The Commons Choir collectively sets our humanity’s troubles and highest ideals to song, movement, and spoken word. Using a collective creative process, the Choir uses voice and movement as links between art, health, and social change.

The Commons Choir will be partnering with BRIC to offer free movement and vocal workshops for the community.

Whether you have singing, theater, or dance background—or are just interested in getting in touch with your creative side, these classes can be enjoyed by all ages and levels of experience. Classes will start with a gentle qigong warm-up, then move on to vocal exercises. Attendees interested in joining the choir may inquire with facilitators Daria Faïn and Robert Kocik during class.”
