According to Gothamist.com, The Pavilion Theater, located at 188 Prospect Park West, will be replaced by a smaller, more modern movie theater. The renovation project still needs approval from the Landmarks Commission, but until then, plans are still up in the air as to what will really be replacing the old Brooklyn landmark. The Pavilion Theater is a seven-screen movie theater, and it is currently showing all of the latest movies from the box office.
