Happy non-denominational holiday season!

A crew of carolers paraded through the Boerum Hill streets on Sunday night, serenading residents of different faiths with a spin on “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” that also encompassed other seasonal celebrations, according to the organizer.

“We sang, ‘We wish you a merry Christmas, we wish you a happy Hanukkah, a happy Kwanza, and a happy new year,’” said Lissa Wolfe, a local resident who has been spreading carolling cheer throughout the neighborhood for at least eight holiday seasons.

As Wolfe and her troupe made their way through the brownstone-lined neighborhood, they made stops outside the Wyckoff Gardens housing complex and on the sidewalks in front of people’s homes.

Some residents had pre-requested a doorstep visit from the carolers, and each chose two tunes from a catalogue of 42 songs.

Some of members of this year’s ensemble sported killer pipes, but Wolfe says anyone is allowed to join in the chorus.

“There are some good ones and some who were better at the jingling of the bells,” she said
