In this New York Emmy-nominated, three-month course we will guide you through all of the stages of creating a long-form documentary.
In the pre-production phase you’ll develop a documentary “style,” choose a subject, target an audience, and draft a production timeline for your film. In the production phase you will learn how to use our top of the line Canon C100 and 70D DSLR cameras, and audio equipment to shoot your documentary. In the post-production phase, you’ll edit your film using Adobe Premiere Pro and learn about distributing your film. The course will culminate with a special public screening of your documentary which may also air on our channels.”
