“Bushwick is today what Williamsburg was 10 years ago – a destination for New York’s creative class that continues to increase in popularity … Given the limited competition we expect the project to succeed.” said Joshua Zegen, Co-founder of Madison Realty Capital, as they announced the closure of a loan to finance a 23,719 square foot, 60 room boutique hotel that is coming to Bushwick, Brooklyn.
The hotel will be located at 19 Bogart St. Although this will be the first boutique hotel in Bushwick, there are rumored plans to of another hotel to be built at 1090 Myrtle Ave, which is just a short walk from the Bogart St hotel.
Other hotels that are going up in the area are a 250 room hotel at 175 Broadway, the Pod Hotel at Driggs and North 4th and the Hoxton Hotel (not confirmed) at 93 Wythe Ave.
