The priciest Brooklyn residential home sale recorded in July was also the third priciest single-family home in the history of the borough, according to PropertyShark.
The three-story, 6,900-square-foot mansion at 17 Prospect Park West in Park Slope sold to Goodie Yags LLC for $12.4 million. The limestone home was built in 1899. The priciest townhouse ever sold in Brooklyn was a $15.5 million Cobble Hill property that traded earlier this summer.
The second priciest deal is also a Park Slope townhouse – a three-story, 4,540-square-foot property at 918 President Street that went for nearly $5 million.
Two more of Alloy Development’s five-building Dumbo Townhouses development have sold and made the list (rendering on the right). The townhouses at 175 and 169 Water Street came in at No. 3 and 5, respectively, with sales of $4.8 million and $4.2 million. A month before, 173 Water Street sold for $4.5 million.
Rounding out the all-townhouse top five is another one of the breed. A five-story home at 319 4th Street in Park Slope changed hands for $4.7 million, making it the fourth priciest on the list.
