Brooklyn, NY – Geometry Studio is pleased to announce its upcoming exhibition, “Conversations,” featuring the works of two artists, Marechal Brown and Larry Dobens. “Conversations” presents a series of photographs and paintings produced in the last five years. Brown, based in Blue Hill, Maine, and Dobens in New York City, each make a study of their respective landscapes. Though working in radically different locales, the artists have independently chosen to direct their focus downward, distilling visions through reflections in water. Through vastly different environments, viewers are offered a compelling dialogue between urban and rural reflections.

Brooklyn-based Badass Animal Rescue invites you to the 8th Annual Badass Bash, our biggest fundraising event of the year. The event will take place on Thursday, September 26th, from 7-10 pm (VIP hour 6-7 pm) at the Littlefield in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
More than just a fundraiser, the annual Badass Bash is a celebration for dog lovers to come together and support everything Badass Animal Rescue stands for. Attendees will enjoy specialty cocktails and brews, delicious bites, amazing live auction packages, and highly coveted raffle prizes. The night will also feature a keynote speaker and honor award recipients, all while raising crucial funds to sustain our mission.
As we celebrate our incredible 13th year of rescue, we’re looking ahead to the future and all the amazing dogs waiting to be saved and become Badasses. This year’s Bash promises to honor the past 13 years of rescue while we look forward to the next 13 years and beyond. Help us secure the future of Badass and many Badasses to come!
Badass Animal Rescue is a leader in responsible rescue, dedicated to saving the most at-risk dogs from underserved communities in the rural American South and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Proceeds from the Bash enable us to continue our vital work.
