2175 Bergen Street is a residential building located on the borderline of Crown Heights and Brownsville.
The building still has 13 one- and two-bedroom units available for rent through the Housing Connect lottery. A percentage of units is set aside for applicants with disabilities (mobility – 5%, vision/hearing – 2%). Individuals or households who meet the income and household size requirements listed in the table below may apply. Qualified applicants will be required to meet additional selection criteria.
The development also includes 1,100 square feet of ground floor retail, and a total of 41 apartments. Thirteen are set aside as “affordable” through NYC Housing Connect.
The Deadline to Apply is July 13, 2020.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: As of July 2020 the new NYC Housing Connect system will take effect. You should Create An Account Now. In July the old system will be phased out. For now you should still use the old system to apply for available apartments.
