This has become a favorite spot for both brunch and dinner. Expect long wait times on the weekends (about an hour), since the place is pretty cozy. The decorations are simplistic, but the exposed brick wall is nice. This spot is very family friendly, and they give kids some crayons to keep busy.
For brunch, everything from the Chicken and Waffles to the warm Lamb Romaine Salad to the biscuits and cocktails is absolutely delicious. For dinner, try the Duck Meatloaf which is very flavorful and juicy. Everything about it is cooked to perfection. For dessert, order Doug’s Pecan Pie Sundae and the Butterscotch Custard. The sundae comes in two sizes, a small and a large (which is two small sundaes). The custard is topped with light whip cream and comes with two chocolate-dipped hazelnut shortbread pieces. The food is consistently good and the service is great, fast and courteous. When it gets warmer, try the outdoor seating!
