The first annual East Brooklyn Jazz Festival,brought to us by ENY Restoration LDC, was a huge success this past weekend. The festival opened with Latin jazz band Mambo Jaamboand closed with world renowned bass player, Stanley Banks & Friends, with the Sir Charles Pulliam band and vocalist, Ras Chemash & Friends in between. The event took place on the lawn at Gateway Drive in East New York, which provided plenty of green grass for chairs/blankets, sun, and space for the festival!
Shoprite was the Presenting Sponsor for the event, with Fusion East Restaurant/Bar, Alpha Care and Vitamin Water, all on board as supporting sponsors.

Yes what a wonderful beginning of many jazz festivals to come. We all loved the Stanley Banks group but is there any footage of the other artist as they where also superb in making their statements? So lets not leave them out since they where videoed as well. And also as a suggestion for next year’s festival please advertise extensively to make your festival a huge hit that many will know about it in advance.
