“Better Than Jam’s STORE & STUDIO is planted in Bushwick Brooklyn, a neighborhood rich in history and brimming with an artistic and creative community.
Better Than Jam was first, the creations of Karin Persan. Hand printed textiles, and original designs, made by hand.
Around 2006, Karin began to take her creations, and sell them to the world.
The line formed while experimenting with designs and selling at craft shows and indie markets.
Better Than Jam the STORE was open February 2010.
Hosting the handmade creations of local designers, crafters, and artists.
Our newest addition to the Better Than Jam empire is our STUDIO!
Karin dreamed of a communal space, where creative peoples would be welcome to use as they needed.
A makers community. A place for your skills, talent, and dreams to grow.
