Paige Powell is debuting a new exhibit called “Jean-Michel Basquiat Reclining Nude” at the Suzanne Geiss Gallery. The exhibit shows intimate photographs of the late artist in his element, reclining nude, smoking cigarettes and dwelling amongst his now sought after art pieces. The exhibit is free, and the pictures are a great way to feel closer to him and his legacy.

*Jean-Michel Basquiat was born in Brooklyn, NY.
*As a child, he was enrolled as a junior member at the Brooklyn Museam.
*He dropped out of Edward R. Murrow high school in the tenth grade.
