It was recently announced that Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be performing at the Barclays Center as part of the Jordan Brand Classic, Friday April 18, 2014. The Jordan Brand Classic features the top high school basketball players in the country. Players like Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and many other high profile NBA players have played in the Jordan Brand Classic.
Macklemore recently Tweeted after he left the Michael Jordan Building…..”Kicking it with the @Jumpman23 fam before taking over @JordanClassic next Friday in Brooklyn”
This will also be the last night to watch Brooklyn high school basketball standout Isaiah Whitehead of Coney island’s Abraham Lincoln HS before he heads off to play for Seton Hall next year, and most likely an NBA career to quickly follow. Whitehead will be playing in the National game just before the Macklemore and Ryan Lewis performance.
