Over 250 people came out to watch Annie, starring Jamie Foxx, Monday night for Week 1 of the East Brooklyn Outdoor Movies Series, Presented by ShopRite. Before the feature film was shown, the audience was treated to an independent film, First Date, a movie written, directed and produced by Kristen V. Carter. On tap for next Monday August 10 is Spike Lee’s, CROOKLYN. Come out at 7pm with your chair or blanket to get the perfect spot. The independent film will be announced during the week, and will be shown at approximately 7:45, with the feature film, CROOKLYN, showing at 8pm.
