President Barack Obama will be gracing the best borough with his presence tomorrow. He is scheduled to visit P-Tech (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) where he will discuss the importance of preparing students for the global economy.
In his most recent State of the Union address, President Obama suggested that every American child should have opportunities that P-Tech offers. The school is known for its six-year program which allows students to earn associates degrees and a possible job with IBM, the school’s partner company.
Brooklynites beware: from noon to 6pm Prospect Park, the Prospect Park Zoo and The Brooklyn Botanic Gardens will be closed. And unless you like traffic, it may be best to stay away from the Grand Army Plaza area during his visit.
