Yesterday, September 1st, 2014, the 47th annual West Indian Day Parade took place in Brooklyn, NYC as the end of the 5 day West Indian celebration. From 11 AM-6PM, Eastern Parkway served as the city’s own carnival location, incorporating all of the Caribbean countries and cultures with floats, music, food and flags galore!
