Another vacant lot in Brownsville is now going to be created into a four-story, 15 unit affordable condo complex. According to curbed, the building will be located on 202 Gaston Boulevard, and it will cost approximately $5.8 million to build. The project is being overseen by Habitat for Humanity, and when the building is completed, there will be two bedroom units reserved for first time buyers with individual salaries of $29,400-$47,000 or family incomes of $41,950-$67,100. The site is one of the first to be approved under mayor de Blasio‘s housing plan to build and maintain 200,000 affordable housing units.
