“Café Ghia (est. 2011) is a neighborhood spot in the heart of Bushwick Brooklyn serving brunch and dinner seven days a week. The focus of the menu is local and seasonal American food. We offer daily specials as well as coffee + tea and a full bar including signature cocktails, and a curated selection of wines and draft and bottled beers. The Café is open every day from 10AM-11PM for brunch, lunch, dinner, drinks and dessert.
Café Ghia is owned by Bushwick residents Scott McGibney and Anna D’Agrosa. Scott is the owner of local coffeeshop The Wyckoff Starr and has worked in the service industry for 20 years, beginning in Burlington, VT where he grew up. Ghia is Anna’s first business venture after seven years at trend forecasting and marketing agency The Zandl Group and three years as Culture Editor for BushwickBK.com. Raised on a farm in Iowa, Anna has lived in NYC for 19 years.
Café Ghia’s namesake is Scott McGibneyʼs 1970 VW Karmann Ghia, purchased when he was sixteen, which he still drives.”
