We have an ever changing wine and beer list with 20 wines available by the glass/bottle, 14 draft lines (12 beer and 2 wine) and an all A-rated bottled beer list. We also serve food – fresh cut charcuterie, cheese, and pressed sandwiches nightly, as well as lunch/brunch daily from 11:30AM. Owners Ben Warren and Gina Leone live in Bushwick and are Spain freaks. We lived in Seville for a little while and fell in love with Spain. They have more bars per square foot than anywhere else in the world. When we moved to Bushwick we definitely missed our bars. We liked that the bar and café culture tied into peoples daily life there. In Spain bodega means ‘wine cellar’ and here it’s slang for the corner store where you hang out, visit, buy beer, bread, twinkies, etc… We wanted to open a place where people could do the same, chill and hang, drink a beer…people need bars!”
