“The East Brooklyn 5K is spearheaded by East New York Restoration LDC, a registered 501(c)3 organization created as a direct result of the historic Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). The CBA was generated from the Gateway Phase II Retail expansion in East New York.
The mission of East New York Restoration LDC (ENYRLDC) is to oversee the implementation of the CBA via three major program initiatives– Job Creation, Small Business Development, and Community Health & Wellness. Through these efforts, ENYRLDC works to increase career and business opportunities, promote healthier lifestyles, and expand cultural, arts, and athletic programming throughout the East New York community.
ENYRLDC owns the EastBrooklyn.com digital media website, which concentrates on news coverage for eight communities, including East New York, Canarsie, Bushwick, Crown Heights, East Flatbush, Bedford Stuyvesant, Cypress and Bownsville. EastBrooklyn.com operated by Jones Innovative Group (JIG). JIG also provides event marketing and corporate partnership opportunities for ENYRLDC.”
