Grab Your Seats Everyone! Presenting, The Beautiful Lizzy Ashliegh!

Lizzy A.
There are TONS of actors and actresses out here in the U.S. of A. Some make it to Hollywood, some make it to television, some make it to Broadway. I know someone who might make it to all 3 and then some. Lizabeth Cooper, also known as Lizzy Ashliegh, is an actress and an all around performer from Brownsville, Brooklyn! She acts, she sings, she dances, she raps, she models, sheesh! What doesn’t that girl do?! She has starred in majority of aiP and Chimp’s music videos, and let me tell you, she is a wonderful person to be around! Her personality lights up the room, and as soon as she gets into character you realize that performing is her God given gift. She attends school at the New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts (NYCDA), and she is expecting to graduate in 2014!

Check out my interview with Lizzy below!

Wishing you all the best, -aiP

*What inspired you to become an actress?*
I always enjoyed listening, reading, and creating stories when I was little. Fiction and Science Fiction were always my favorite to read or hear people talk about. When I was in kindergarten, I enjoyed performing these many stories at my school plays. I will never forget playing Rosa Parks in my first short play. I was only about 5 but I remember it like it was yesterday and everyone said I was great. I always wanted to keep that feeling and I still have it today when I finish a project and someone tells me its amazing.
*What school do you attend?*
NYCDA (New York Conservatory For Dramatic Arts).
*What is your favorite film genre, movie, tv show, and cartoon?*
I love both horror and comedy. My favorite movie for each genre is “Zombie Land”/”Friends with Benefits”, “True Blood”/”Community”, “Archie’s Weird Mysteries” and all of the “Looney Tunes” shows.
*If you could talk with any actor/actress that died, who would it be and why? What would you ask?*
I would love to have a conversation with Heath Ledger. He passed away right after making “The Dark Knight”. Some people say the role of “The Joker” took over him and some say he just overdosed on prescription drugs. I would love to know the real story, and since I am hoping to get into some horrific roles, I would like to know how to be just as good with actually deciding to kill a few people or going over the edge.
*How do you prepare for a casting?*
I am either very relaxed or filled with anxiety. It all depends on the set and who is around me. I use however I am feeling at the moment and put it into my work whether it be nerves or pure excitement. On the other hand, I also prep my voice and physical body and make sure everything is free and open for whatever is about to occur.
*Besides acting, are there any other talents that you would like to be known for? Do you consider yourself to be a triple threat?*
All of my friends know that I love music with a passion. My main art is storytelling, and I tell stories through dance, music, acting, poetry, and actual storytelling. Instead of being a triple threat, I just look at art as something I want to do for life and I am open to many other projects such as modeling, body art (make-up), sports, drawing, everything. I was once told “A jack of all trades is a master to none”. My response is “I’ll rather be a jack of all trades than a master of one”.
*Where do you envision yourself 5-10 years from now?*
I plan on moving to California after booking enough commercials, independent films, and movies to become more known and familiar to major casting directors. My modeling and music will be successfully being worked out on the side.
*If a director wanted to cast you, where and how could they reach you?*
