BROOKLYN NY – Car2Go, the carsharing company, made a visit to Brooklyn’s Borough Hall, to give Borough President Eric Adams a first hand look at the car. “I welcome the addition of car2go to Brooklyn’s highways and byways,” said Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams. “As Borough President of our city’s destination for innovation, I further applaud the ‘drive’ of car2go to shakeup the urban transportation landscape through the company’s per minute fee structure and its environmentally-friendly fleet of cars.”
Exclusively for Brooklyn, car2go will be providing 400 smart vehicles for shared use. This market currently covers 36 square miles, allowing members to pick up and drop off a car2go anywhere within the Home Area. As the only true, point-to-point car-sharing service, car2go allows members to use the service by the minute, hour and day, 24 hours a day, and seven days a week – without committing to a specific return time or dedicated location.

The Daimler AG extends its deep appreciation to the Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams, for his continued support to bring Brooklyn residents and visitors a true one-way carsharing service that will significantly help them get around the Borough with ease.”
